ENRICHMENT IN SCHOOLS
& COLLEGES
Through funding partnerships, Leaders Community are able to deliver enrichment sessions in schools and colleges.
They will be held at the end of the school day, giving access to additional street dance sessions to young people who remain inactive or disengaged in any extra curriculum activities.
Sessions have already been delivered at Frederick Bremer, The Holy Family School, Big Creative Education, Ferry Lane, Heathcote, Chingford Foundation and Longshaw Primary School.
L.E.A.D.E.R.S COMMUNITY TAKE PART IN SCHOOL ROAD SHOW
Due to funding received from the Jack Petchey Foundation, Leaders were able to engage with over 600 children and young people, by taking part in a schools road show.
This enabled us to talk about the importance of engaging in activities outside of the school day, in an effort to steer them away from negative cycles and behaviours.
A big thank you to the Jack Petchey Foundation for helping us in making this opportunity available to so many young people!
L.E.A.D.E.R.S COMMUNITY HOLD WORKSHOPS AT CHINGFORD FOUNDATION SECONDARY SCHOOL
Thanks to management and staff at Chingford Foundation Secondary School for welcoming Leaders to their school for a full day of presentations and dance workshops.
We addressed health & well-being and the importance of navigating away from negative behaviours and cycles.
We were able to engage with over 200 students which was an amazing experience and we look forward to welcoming some students to our ongoing programs.
L.E.A.D.E.R.S COMMUNITY DELIVER DANCE WORKSHOPS AT FERRY LANE SCHOOL
On Monday 28th January 2019, two of our young Leaders Emie & Caris led 2 dance workshops for 120 children at Ferry Lane Primary School (Haringey).
Well done to Emie & Caris for engaging with these young talents and demonstrating that dance is an alternative physical activity for those that do not enjoy sports.
Also that it can be fun as well as good for you !
